Privacy Policy
Last updated: January 1, 2026 · Effective immediately
TL;DR: Typing Automator collects absolutely no personal data. No information is stored, transmitted, shared, or sold. Everything the extension does happens locally inside your browser, on your device only.
1. Who We Are
Typing Automator is a Chrome browser extension developed and maintained by Lule Arther, operating under the software brand Codera.
- Developer: Lule Arther
- Company / Brand: Codera

2. Information We Collect
We collect no information whatsoever. Specifically:
- We do not collect names, email addresses, or any other identifying personal information.
- We do not collect the text you input or automate through the extension.
- We do not collect browsing history, URLs visited, or page content.
- We do not collect device information, IP addresses, or location data.
- We do not collect usage statistics, frequency of use, or any behavioral data.
3. How the Extension Works
Typing Automator operates entirely within your local browser environment:
- Text you enter into the extension popup is processed locally on your device.
- The typing simulation is performed by injecting keystrokes into the active web page — this occurs only on your machine.
- No text, keystrokes, or page data is ever transmitted to any external server or service.
- The extension does not make any network requests to Codera's servers or any third-party servers.
4. Data Storage
The extension may temporarily store your typed text in local browser storage (e.g., chrome.storage.local) solely for the purpose of persisting your input between sessions for your convenience. This data:
- Never leaves your device.
- Is not encrypted by us (it is protected by your browser's own security model).
- Can be deleted at any time by removing the extension or clearing browser data.
5. Cookies and Tracking
Typing Automator does not use cookies. Typing Automator does not use any web analytics, tracking pixels, session recording, or third-party tracking technologies of any kind.
6. Third-Party Services
Typing Automator does not integrate with, send data to, or rely on any third-party services, APIs, or analytics platforms. Your data is never shared with, sold to, rented to, or disclosed to any third party under any circumstances.
7. Permissions
The extension requests only the minimal Chrome permissions required to function:
- activeTab: Needed to inject keystrokes into the currently active tab when you initiate typing. This permission is invoked only when you click "Start Typing."
- storage: Needed to save your text locally between sessions for convenience.
No permissions are used for surveillance, tracking, or data collection.
8. Children's Privacy
Typing Automator is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children. Since we collect no personal data at all, we are fully compliant with children's privacy laws such as COPPA.
9. Changes to This Policy
If this privacy policy ever changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify users via the extension's Chrome Web Store listing. Continued use of the extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
10. Your Rights
Because we collect no personal data, there is nothing to access, correct, or delete. However, if you have any questions about your privacy in relation to this extension, you are welcome to contact us at any time.
11. Data Security
Since all data remains on your device and no data is transmitted externally, there is no server-side security risk associated with Typing Automator. The security of your locally stored extension data is governed by your browser's built-in security architecture.
